We’ve loved celebrating World Book Day in our pyjamas today! We’ve had so much fun sharing our favourite stories, but don’t worry we had plenty of time left to make some Gruffalo Crumble and have even practiced buttering our own toast!

The best thing about special deliveries has to be the boxes, and this week has been no exception!

Ending a fab half term with some lovely bright spring colours, we love our open ended play at Opportunity ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

It may be the last week before Christmas but our little elves have been very busy. We’ve been experimenting with lengths and measuring, looking at numbers and quantities, and we’ve even made some lovely keepsakes along the way!

Well it’s definitely been a ‘cosy’ kind of day here today! With all of the rain we’ve been having ☔️☔️☔️ the children have enjoyed building dens, being cosy with blankets, experimenting with torches and truly going at their own pace!

We’ve been making the most of the last few leaves in our lovely garden by making beautiful autumn crowns 👑🍂

Five days exploring one resource! The children have enjoyed investigating pumpkins - very kindly grown for us by Sutton Bridge Allotmenteers! Each day we built on our previous fun and the children enjoyed deciding “what shall we do with our pumpkins today?”

A big thank you to everyone who has joined us for Cuppa Club this half term. The children have enjoyed laying cafes too!

We love all our different outdoor spaces at Opportunity and are making the most of this lovely autumn weather by playing outside. We’ve been using the fallen leaves to practice our fine motor skills, look our fantastic leafy caterpillars! Thanks, as always, to the wonderful Rob for keeping all our outdoor resources so beautiful.
