We’re getting there!

At this Point in the holiday, it can seem like we will never be ready to welcome the children back 😵‍💫 but I know that we will be.

The old grass has been ripped up today, ready for the ground to be prepped for the new grass.

Mr Morphett will not be sorry if he never sees another paintbrush again! 🖌 He has painted all 3 Reception classrooms and a corridor and then I suggested that while the hall was empty, with the floor being stripped and sealed, it would be a good idea for the hall to be painted too so Mr Morphett and I tackled it last week.

Mr Preece has gone back to work for a rest today having foolishly offered to lay the floors in the 2 wooden pods. 😆 They are now finished though and ready for furnishing.

The rest of the week will see the painting being finished, furniture delivered, the new grass being laid, new signage and a new cooker.

It’s the second completed job of the day…

The hall curtains have all come down and we have had solar film fitted to all of the windows And a new logo added.

The next job begins on Thursday when the hall floor will get a makeover…..watch this space….

From a drawing to reality….
Apart from the projector and the interactive mat and the blinds to darken the room, our new Sensory Room is finished. Thank you Rhino UK for all of your support in bringing this project together.
We can’t wait for the children to be able to use it in September.

The summer holidays have begun with a flurry of activity….

Mr Morphett cleared the hall on Friday and over the weekend ready for the wooden floor to be sanded back and resealed next week. Before that though, we have had Shropshire Window Films in today to fit films to the windows to help with the heat and glare.

The transformation to change the Rainbow Room to our Sensory Room is also underway, with Rhino UK being in today.

Not forgetting Mr Preece who popped by after work to start fitting the floors to our pods.

🎉 Our Year 2 leavers had a fantastic morning today with a special visit from PJ the Showman! 🎭✨

The children enjoyed lots of fun, laughter and excitement, making wonderful memories as they prepare for their next adventure. A huge thank you to PJ for such an entertaining and enjoyable show – every child had a brilliant time! 😊🌟
