👏 Emma Turner, from The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has achieved a Pass in her EPA. Throughout her a demonstrated dedication and commitment, which helped her secure a permanent position as an Audio Typist. A fantastic achievement and a testament to her hard work and determination.

🌟 Grace Bywater, from , has achieved an outstanding Distinction in her EPA. Alongside this success, Grace has recently been promoted to Events & Training Manager, highlighting the positive impact she has made within the organisation and her continued professional growth.

Work Experience Week at SBC Training 🛠️📱🏥

Last week, we were delighted to welcome three groups of Year 10 students from Belvidere School Shrewsbury for part of their work experience week at SBC Training.

Our first group attended our Construction Centre at Centurion Park, where they took part in practical carpentry and brickwork activities. Students had the opportunity to develop hands-on construction skills, working with tools, materials and techniques commonly used within the industry while experiencing what a career in the trades could involve.

Meanwhile, the other two groups attended our Vanguard Way site.

📱 Digital Media Session
Working with Alex and Liane, students explored the world of digital media, using Canva to create posters, branding materials and social media content.

🏥 Health & Social Care Session
With Debbie and Georgie, students learned about healthy lifestyles and gained valuable insight into careers within the health and social care sector.

It was fantastic to see so many students engaged in a different learning environment, developing new skills and discovering the opportunities that apprenticeships can offer in the future.
