For the past few months, once a fortnight on a Tuesday evening I’ve been tutoring Beginner Spanish with this fab group of 3 ladies from Telford 😊

We have covered topics so far such as greetings, days / months and most recently they’ve succeeded in learning their numbers from 1-100 🙌🏻

Our lessons include a blend of written work, listening and spoken practice. I try to keep things as interactive and fun for my students as possible 🤩

They are learning the language so well and I’m excited to see how they continue to progress throughout the year ✨

Have you considered learning a language online? 🇫🇷🇪🇸

Online tutoring allows me to support students with their language learning needs on a global level just as easily as I can with those who live in the local area. Some of the benefits include:

Elimination of geographical constraints – tutors and students can find each other from anywhere in the world 🌍 This means students can be matched with the best tutors suited to their needs without being limited by the area in which they live in 🙌🏻

Lessons can be done from any global location and at more flexible/awkward times ⏰(e.g. later at night or first thing in the morning). All you need is a device such as a computer, tablet or even phone and an internet connection ⚡️

Efficient resource sharing through cloud storage shared folders such as Dropbox 💻 (I have shared Dropbox folders with all my students, which contain past papers, practice questions, sample questions, a copy of the specifications, etc.). This also helps keep everything organised and in one place

A private learning environment, without the potential awkwardness of a face to face meeting (especially if a student is a little shy or anxious) ☺️ Going into someone else’s private home can be a little exposing at times. With online lessons, this alleviates any social pressure as there is no one sitting physically watching everything students are doing!
