Wishing Phabulous Phoebe and Smiling Sophie the happiest of birthdays for tomorrow 🎈

These guys always come in smiling, with loads of energy, and give everything 💯 %

And this week they brought cakes as well as their infectious joyful personalities 🎂

Thank you for being such a wonderful part of Glasshouse Mini girls - we hope you have the best birthday EVER and we can’t wait to hear all about it next week 🤩

Last week at Glasshouse Mini really showed off what we are all about…

🎭 Teamwork
🎭 Supporting each other
🎭 Sharing ideas
🎭 Praising each other
🎭 Encouraging each other
🎭 Having a lot of fun!

These drama students are all different ages, from different school, some are home educated, they live in different areas, some travel for nearly an hour… but they all get stuck in, help each other, laugh with each other and push themselves (and each other) out of their comfort zones

I am literally seeing changes week by week right before my eyes 👀 and I’m reminded just how important classes like these are for our children and young people

Yes, we’re gonna put on a fabulous show for you at the end of the year… but it’s so much more than that. These guys are learning skills that they will use in their every day lives, now and going forward. And they have those skills forever then

I’m always proud of them, but last week they really shone in terms of understanding others, working together, patience and bravery

And those are the things that really matter! Being good at performing is such a brilliant bonus 🤩

The Excitement is Building…

Modern life is tiring… and expensive!

As a working mum I know the juggle and financial pressures only too well - believe me, I get it 🥴

That’s why I offer the option to just come for an hour at Glasshouse Mini - students don’t have to come for the full 120min session

Some opt for the first hour where we play drama games designed to build confidence, improve communication skills and raise self esteem resulting in supporting you through all areas of life

Others come first the second hour where we’re working on what it’s like to be an actor before starting rehearsing for our big summer production

And a lot of devoted Glasshouse Mini fans stay for the full two hours to enjoy both and really get stuck in

You’re welcome to choose what works for you - and you can change it up week by week (at least until we get into serious rehearsing!)

So come and try it when you’re ready - come just for the first hour, or the second, or both! We’d love to see you there and you’d be made to feel so welcome

Open to everyone ages 7+

It felt good to be back last week…

But the first one is all rules and reminders - so now the FUN really starts

Glasshouse Mini DRAMA CLASSES are back tomorrow - Wednesday 16th September - for more fun, games, laughter, creativity, and confidence building 🎭

Be prepared to get stuck in, play some silly games, and have a couple of hours of drama fun 🤩

In the next few weeks we will start working on our musical at the end of the year and we need more actors…

So if you know someone aged 7 and above, send them our way. Looking for all ages including teenagers.

🎭 Drama teaches SO much more than drama…

It’s about communication skills; speaking clearly and active listening. It’s about thinking on your feet, working with others and expressing your ideas in a safe and comfortable environment.

Once these skills are developed, they don’t stay in the Glasshouse Mini space…

They come to school
They come home
They come into friendships
They come into life
