Our action-packed trip to Pioneer Centre was a huge hit with both children and adults alike! From thrilling activities to unforgettable memories, it was a trip full of excitement, laughter and teamwork.

A massive thank you to our amazing team of adults who made it all possible: Mrs Smith, Miss Cadwallader, Mrs Thurston, Miss Jewsbury, Mrs Painter, Miss Cubbin and Miss Travjs - your energy and care made the experience truly special.

Let's just say... the coach ride home was a little quieter than the journey there.

Year 5 had a great experience today taking part in an Ancient Egypt workshop, carried out by Shrewsbury Museum. The children had the opportunity to examine a range of artefacts, which included primary sources as well as replicas.

They learnt how to crack hieroglyphic codes, learnt about aspects of daily life, and designed and made amulets.

A real highlight was dressing up as some real ancient Egyptians and learning how to mummify a pharaoh! ❤️

Yesterday, Year 2 had a fantastic day at Shrewsbury Museum learning all about the Great Fire of London! We brought history to life by acting out key events and getting hands-on with some exciting activities. We also explored Shrewsbury’s Tudor buildings and compared them with what London would have looked like in 1666.

A wonderful day of history, exploration and fun! 🩵
