This is the last post for me! Tomorrow (18th April 2026) is my last day with Mini First Aid. I have made the decision to step away from the Mini First Aid Franchise - hopefully someone will pick up the franchise soon though!

Thank you to all who have followed my journey - Now its time for me to adventure into something new!

But for now, from me... its goodbye! x

Hi everyone 🤍

This is one of those posts that’s really hard to write…

As my contract with Mini First Aid has now come to an end, I’ve made the decision not to renew and will be stepping away from the franchise on 18th April 2026.

This business has been such a huge part of my life. From nervous first classes to confidently teaching hundreds of families, schools and workplaces— every single person I’ve met has played a part in that journey, and I will always be grateful.

But sometimes… life pulls you in a different direction.

For us, that direction is adventure.
We’ve always been into exploring, travel and adventure- even more so with our daughter!

So now, we’ve made the decision as a family to completely change our lifestyle. We’ll be selling our home and building a completely new one — an overlander expedition truck — and creating a lifestyle that allows us to spend more time together, learn through experience, and explore the world as a family.

It feels big… a little scary… but completely right for us.

If you’d like to follow along with our journey, you can find us on all platforms (I’ll pop the links in the comments)

From now, I won’t be taking any new bookings. I do have one final qualification course to deliver, along with completing a few final bits.

For any future bookings, please contact head office at [email protected].

This will be my final post on this page 🩷

Thank you for supporting me, my family, and this business. It has meant more than I can put into words.

Today we delivered our final NHS-funded Baby & Child First Aid session as part of our 12-month contract.

What a year it has been.

Over the past 12 months we’ve had the privilege of teaching so many incredible parents, grandparents and carers across our community. Watching people leave feeling more confident, more prepared and less anxious about emergencies is exactly why these sessions matter so much.

We’ll be going through all the data over the next few weeks, but one thing is already clear — the number of families who have taken the time to learn life-saving skills is something to be really proud of.

Thank you to every single person who came along, asked questions, shared stories and trusted us to guide you through such important skills.

Helping families feel more confident around their little ones will always be something close to my heart. 💛

After a lot of thought, I’m sharing some news today that may be a bit of a shock…

But after a lot of thought and consideration, Mini First Aid Shropshire is now officially up for sale.
(All enquiries should be directed to head office who will send more details on - or DM me and I can send you in the right direction for more information)

Running this business has been an incredible experience. Over the past 4 and a bit years I have supported so many families, schools and workplaces and worked alongside amazing community partners. I have had the privilege of teaching thousands of people vital life-saving skills!

I’m incredibly proud of everything I have built here in Shropshire.

But now, as our family moves into a new chapter, it feels like the right time for me to step back and for someone new to take the reins and continue growing this brilliant business locally.

All confirmed bookings will continue to go ahead as planned, including our last few NHS combined class bookings. (We still have spaces tomorrow in Ellesmere for the AM and PM sessions - book here: https://bookwhen.com/mfashropshirecombined)

You may also notice that there are currently no new class dates available to book. This is simply while we move through this period. We will go through all enquiries that have come in the next week.

Mini First Aid Shropshire has strong foundations, fantastic community relationships and huge potential for the right person who is passionate about helping families and communities learn first aid.

If you, or someone you know, might be interested in this opportunity, please feel free to send me a message for more details.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Mini First Aid Shropshire over the years — it has truly meant the world. 💚

“I was initially quite nervous about attending…”

And this right here is why I do what I do.

First aid can feel overwhelming.
Walking into a room of strangers can feel overwhelming.
Bringing your baby along? Even more so.

But my classes are not about pressure.
They’re about reassurance.
They’re about confidence.
They’re about knowing that if the worst happened — you wouldn’t freeze.

I will always:
✔️ Make you feel welcome
✔️ Answer every question
✔️ Give you space to practise (without pressure)
✔️ Stay behind to chat
✔️ Remind you that babies are ALWAYS welcome

Because learning first aid shouldn’t feel intimidating — it should feel empowering.

To the lovely parent who wrote this review — thank you.
It means more than you know 🤍
