Look who dropped by! We loved welcoming Old Prestfeldian Tom Meredith and his daughter back to school today. Tom and his brother Toby were boarders here, and Tom even finished his time as Head Boy in 1994! It was wonderful hearing his fond memories of life in Celts House. Welcome home, Tom. Once a Prestfeldian, always a Prestfeldian.

As Holiday Club continues here at Prestfelde, the children are living their best lives this summer.

Under a beautiful blue sky, they have had the best fun. From bike riding through our 30 acre site, to swimming, sports, games, and some epic water fights, each day has been spent having fun with friends.

Fuelled by a delicious lunch and the enthusiasm of our amazing Holiday Club team each day, the children have gone home happy, tired and excited to see what fun is to be had in the morning!

Congratulations to Prestfelde golfers, Luca, Francesca and Bobby, who finished an impressive 8th at the England Golf Team Handicap Championships.

Competing against 32 of the country’s top qualifying teams, the trio did themselves and Prestfelde proud.

What a fantastic way to round off our series of Sports Days.

Our Years 6–8 pupils took to the top fields at Highfield House for an action-packed Sports Day, showcasing incredible some incredible athleticism.

From thrilling track races to impressive high jump performances and powerful cricket ball throws, the competition was electric. Our pupils gave their all, cheered each other on and produced some outstanding performances.

Congratulations to House Celts, who were crowned this year’s Sports Day champions and to House Normans, who won the Relay Cup.

It was a thrilling morning of competition for our Year 3 - Year 5 pupils, as they battled it out in their Houses, for the Sports Day Cup.

The sun broke through the clouds and the crowds cheered, as the children gave it their all out in the track.

Well done to House Saxons who walked away as overall winners, whilst House Celts lifted the Relay Cup.

It’s been a week since the Blackburn Chapel & Theatre played host to the Prestfelde Rock Gig … and our feet haven’t stopped tapping since!

The children raised the roof with their thumping music and their epic performances. The Theatre was still buzzing long after the last beat had been drummed!

Thank you to everyone that came along to make up our extremely enthusiastic audience, and a special thank you to our teachers who accompanied some of the bands, and then had a blast putting on their very own performance!
