What's on in Shrewsbury - June 2025

🎨 Belle Vue Arts Festival: 6th-21st June

Each year the festival is built around a theme, and this year’s is Fantasy. The festival will take place across 2 weeks featuring workshops, exhibitions, trails, performances, talks and community events.

🌳 Attingham Park Nature Weekend - Water: 13th-14th June

Meet the British Dragonfly Society, The Severn Rivers Trust, Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Attingham’s Nature Recovery Team and others, who will all be providing a range of activities such as guided walks, water beastie spotting and arts and crafts, all around the theme of rivers, ponds and the wildlife that inhabit them.

🦒 Wildlife Photographer of the Year: until 20th June

The world’s most prestigious wildlife photography exhibition has arrived at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery. Celebrating its sixty-first year, this globally acclaimed showcase from the Natural History Museum in London features breath-taking images that reveal the hidden stories of our planet’s wildlife.

🍜 Shrewsbury Food Festival: 27th-28th June

A large award-winning event bringing together independent food producers, street food vendors, chefs, brewers, and distillers from across the region.

What's on in Shrewsbury - May 2026

Shrewsbury's annual three day multi-venue music festival, LOOPFEST. A unique event bringing live music to as many venues as possible across the town, 1st-3rd May

Enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere while browsing stalls from local independent businesses and makers, all in the beautiful historic setting of St Mary’s Church, 16th May

There will be performances on Saturdays and Sundays, including brass bands, choirs, concert bands and other music groups. Bring a picnic, relax, and enjoy live music in one of Shrewsbury’s most popular outdoor spaces, 10th May - 23rd August

Join our knowledgeable guides for a 90‑minute walking tour of Shrewsbury’s medieval town. Meet at 2:15pm by the Clive of India statue and explore the town’s history and beautiful buildings as you walk through this historic place, April - September 2026
