Success!🌟
This year I tutored four year 11 students.
Evie has achieved a grade 6, moving from a grade 3 which she achieved in her mocks. Evie worked hard to secure her foundation knowledge before moving onto the higher concepts. A fantastic result ❤️
Liv was achieving grade 3/4 at the beginning of the year and was struggling to achieve full marks in the problem solving questions. Liv worked hard all year and has achieved a grade 5!❤️
Seren achieved a 3 in her mocks and found the pressure of exams a lot. She worked hard at past papers and was fantastic at identifying her gaps and has achieved a 4.❤️
Emily was working at a 2/3 in her mocks and regularly told me Maths is her worst subject and that she prefers English. Em just wanted a pass so she worked hard on key concepts and has achieved the grade 4.❤️
Tutoring gives students chance to ask questions they wouldn’t in larger groups, it allows them to identify gaps in their knowledge and work on them. We practise exam questions and key concepts, its a safe space and a chance to make mistakes. A huge congratulations to these girls, your hard work and determination has paid off.
Proud of you all 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I think if my year 11 students hear me say this one more time their heads will explode…
But seriously 25 days to go until Paper 1… every day counts! Revise, eat, sleep, revise. Repeat!

With Year 11 only days away from their first exam, I have had lots of enquiries this week for the academic year 2026/2027.
I have one slot left!
Thankyou for all of the recommendations 😀

SUCCESS!
Zak began tutoring after failing his exam in 2025. He was determined to pass. Zak was fantastic at the everyday Maths such as time and money but needed a refresh on topics like factorising and trigonometry.
His colllege said he couldn’t retake the exam originally as lots of people had failed and there were other students that were closer. However through sheer determination and proof of tutoring and hard work they agreed.
Then we had a setback he got his result and he failed by three marks. 🙄We knew that he was capable so I advised he gets it remarked and the marks have now been changed! He has his grade 4 and can go and be fabulous in his chosen career path. I’m super proud of Zak. This is more than just the grade 4, this is knowing your worth and showing you are capable ❤️

126 days until the first Maths GCSE exam.😳
I’ve had lots of enquiries this week after mock results and a little bit of realisation of how little time there is left.
Thankyou as always for keeping me so busy ❤️

My apprentice Simba. Loves waiting for students to arrive! The amount of Maths talk this dog has heard he should be able to pass his GCSE 😍
