This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate Poppy, IT Apprentice at Greenhous Village.

Working in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Poppy is part of a new generation of women bringing fresh perspectives, talent and confidence to the world of technology.

“Being a woman in IT can feel daunting at first, but it’s also really empowering. At Greenhous Village I’ve learned that if you’re passionate and willing to learn, there’s absolutely a place for you. It’s exciting to be part of an industry where more women are stepping forward and making their mark.”

🌟 Celebrating Apprenticeship Success! 🌟

As part of Apprenticeship Week, we’re shining a spotlight on one of last year’s standout success stories, Jess.
Jess received Apprentice of the Year at the County Training Awards and went on to achieve a full Distinction in her End Point Assessment. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to learning have been inspiring from day one.
Since completing her Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, Jess has taken the next exciting step in her career, securing a full time role as a Business Support Assistant with her apprenticeship employer, the EmPower Academy Trust.

Stories like Jess’s show the true value of apprenticeships building skills, opening doors, and helping talented people grow into confident professionals.
