Dear Parents and Carers,

As you know, we have had to postpone our Sports Days this week due to the extremely hot weather. The safety and wellbeing of the children must always come first, and the temperatures meant it would not have been safe or sensible for them to take part in physical activity outdoors for an extended period.

We have now rearranged the events, and I am pleased to share the new dates:

KS1: Tuesday 7th July at 9.15am

Reception: Wednesday 8th July at 2.15pm

Year 3 & 4: Thursday 9th July at 9.15am

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We know how much the children look forward to Sports Day, and we want them to enjoy it safely. We will continue to monitor the weather closely and ensure children have access to shade, water, and regular breaks.

We look forward to welcoming you on the new dates.

'Immense pride' - Shropshire primary schools live dream at national finals Crudgington Primary School and Greenfields Primary School both reached the English Schools’ Football Association Primary Schools’ Cup finals.

What a fantastic day🤩⚽️

Unfortunately we didn’t make it out the group stages but were all really proud of how they conducted themselves and performaned against some superb teams from all across England competing against premier league academy players!!!👏

They all showed real team effort and great resilience! They have done Greenfields/Shropshire immensely proud💚

Thanks to all family members/staff who came out in their numbers today to support the boys💪

If you have a child starting with us in Reception this September and haven't already returned their registration forms please can we ask that this is done by Monday 18th May to allow the Admin Staff enough time to process the forms.

🏆 U11 Boys Primary Stars Cup Winners 🏆

The U11 boys have continued their impressive year by winning the Croud Meadow Primary Stars Cup today at the Shrewsbury Town Football stadium!

The lads managed to win an incredible 7 out of 7 games, showing fantastic teamwork and skill throughout the tournament. Their confidence on the ball and ability to move it around the pitch was a pleasure to watch.

Another amazing achievement for these boys and a proud moment for the school! ⚽️👏🏻🥇

We would like to express our appreciation to for our brand new kits. 🤩
The boys are extremely impressed with them and cannot wait to wear them at the Bet 365 stadium, home to Stoke City for the English Schools National Finals in a couple of weeks. ⚽️👏
