I am looking for a highly enthusiastic passionate person someone wanting making a difference to children’s lives.

You need to have experience of leading a nursery room and you need to be very organised with great initiative. We are a small but busy 32 place nursery with 9 members of staff and you will work alongside the owner in developing and leading the nursery. Owner on site everyday. You need confidence, great understanding and good listening skills.

Your role will be day to day running of the room-welcoming parents, ensuring exciting play opportunities are out for the children, overseeing staff and children’s development throughout the day. You will be expected to be key person to a small number of children. Limited paperwork as you will be spending 99% of your day with the children and we plan in the moment so no planning required. You will need to think on your feet.

We use tapestry to communicate with the parents. Please get in touch if you would like the opportunity to come and work with us.

This is a full time position although 4 days could be discussed. Term time only with optional holiday cover - open shorter weeks / days throughout the holidays and closed 4 weeks a year and all bank holidays / PD days

Experience:

Nursery: 3 years (preferred)
Management: 1 year (preferred)
