This morning we came together for our Harvest Assembly, and what a special occasion it was. The children listened beautifully as our Year 6 pupils shared poems and readings, and the whole school filled the hall with glorious singing. All of our harvest donations will go to The Ark homeless shelter in the centre of Shrewsbury, helping us to support our own local community. A huge thank you to all our families for your incredibly generous donations.

URGENT!

We have had children bring crepes in to school that have hazelnut spread in them.

WE ARE A NUT FREE SCHOOL!

These pose a significant risk to children and staff members who have nut allergies.

Please read the labels of products you are sending into school with your child.

Thank you.

Dear parents & carers,

You may have noticed that over the last few months, we've been changing the way we share images of our children on our social media platforms.

As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding, we're adapting how we showcase school life in response to growing concerns around the use of children's images, including through AI.
This doesn't mean we'll stop sharing the wonderful moments happening school, it simply means we've changed the angle.

Moving forward, you'll see more:
📸Backs of heads
🤲Hands-on learning and activities
👧Side-facing photographs, where appropriate and with relevant permissions.

Our aim is simple: to celebrate the learning, creativity, friendships and special moments that make school life so wonderful, while taking every step we can to protect our children's privacy and safety.
Please ensure we have accurate permissions for your child.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support whilst we implement these important changes.

Ms O'Hara
Head of School.

Years 1, 2 & 3 had the pleasure of taking part in an exciting event celebrating the launch of Julia Donaldson's latest book 'Gruffalo Granny' with The British Library. After a live performance of the original Gruffalo tale, we listened to the new story and got to draw along with illustrator Axel Scheffler. We had an amazing time and really love the newest book in the Gruffalo series! 🌲📚🐭🦊🐍🦉
