Our Long Mountain PTFA AGM will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at The Lowfield Inn, Marton, starting at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

This year's AGM is particularly important as our Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer will all be stepping down from their roles. The PTFA plays a vital role in raising funds and supporting school events, and we need new volunteers to help continue this work. Whether you are interested in taking on a committee role or simply want to find out more about how you can help, we would love to see you there.

We hope the new reception starters are pleased with their personalised name labels. This gift from PTFA was made possible through the continued support and generosity of the school community. And will hopefully save lots of jumpers getting lost!

A huge thank you to everyone who bought or sold tickets for our rainbow raffle which was drawn at sports day last week. We raised a huge £440.
A massive thank you to Shrewsbury Folk Festival for the very kind donation of a family ticket which was our main prize.

What a fantastic sports day!

Thank you to everyone who baked, donated cakes, bought cakes and drinks, did the last minute panic buying and manned the stall. The pennies are being counted but I’m sure we’ll have raised a huge amount for the school. Thank you.
