Back to Nature in Forest School.

Lots of outdoor sports 🏉 🏏 ⚽️

So far we have enjoyed lots of games and small world play.

After taking part in sports our older children discussed the eatwell plate, how and why we need to eat a balanced diet. They also planned what to cook on Thursday.

Today our youngest children helped to make vegetable pasta bake. We talked about food hygiene. Where their food came from. They learned how to hold a knife to cut.

Today is the last day to grab a pair.

A helping hand

The panic is real…. Getting new shoes in time for September!!!! As lots of us pop out this weekend and brave the queues, the tantrums, the HUGE bill, others simply cannot afford to do the same. With a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who supported us we have been able to hand out hundreds of pairs of good quality 2nd hand shoes and trainers for families that need a helping hand in our community.

No child should feel isolated in the classroom or unable to perform in PE because of the shoes on their feet. THANK YOU everyone for your kindness and community spirit.

If you know anyone who might benefit from this service we will be at The UGC on castle street in Shrewsbury on Monday 23rd August 11-1pm. We can also parcel up shoes for schools, foster carers, social workers etc. Do just get in touch.
