The DfE have shared information on The Great British Summer Savings scheme, which is running from 25 June to 1 September 2026, helping families feel a bit less squeezed this summer.
The new scheme includes reduced VAT on days out, including tickets at attractions like soft play, adventure centres and theme parks, children's tickets for theatres and cinemas, and children's meals in restaurants. Children aged 5 to 15 in England will also be able to travel free on local bus services throughout August.
For further information about the scheme visit Summer Savings.

✨ Exciting news! ✨
We’re so excited to share that we came second in the Tesco Blue Coins scheme and have been awarded £1000! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, we really appreciate your support.
This funding will go towards sensory resources for our children, helping to create a calmer, more supportive environment where all pupils can feel comfortable, regulated and ready to learn.
Thank you again for your ongoing support.

We’ve been working hard on our school climate plan and, with the help of some of our pupils, have created a Climate Charter. It includes simple pledges we’re all committing to, helping our school become more eco‑friendly and doing our bit to care for the planet 🌏
