I havs been thinking alot about boundaries.
I have been setting boundaries that before I wouldn't have called boundaries.
I used to think a boundary wss just telling people (aggressively) what you need
And if they can't/won't do that
Or if they have questions and need clarity
Then you cut them out.
They are no longer allowed access to you.
Honestly just reading that back makes me realise how fu**ed the internet makes our heads.
Boundaries can be filled humility, calm and genuine respect and care for the other person.
If you don't relate to the aggressive loud cpmmunication style which is usually associated with boundaries on the internet
Give this a listen.
I see so many people struggle with this right now.
The world is confusing
The future is uncertain
We dont want to give up our today for a uncertain tomorrow
But equally dont want to f*ck everything up today and not think about the consequences that will need to be dealt tomorrow.
This is the happy medium.
Everyday.
One thing for today you.
One thing for future you.
For anyone who thinks taking care of yourself / doing things for yourself is selfish.
Let me know in the comments where this idea comes from for you? β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ genuinley interested.
The question we all eventually have to ask ourself.
