What an amazing term we’ve had at nursery! 🌸✨

We’ve loved getting stuck into all things spring, from planting beautiful flowers 🌼 to decorating our very own flowerpots 🎨. The children had so much fun taking part in our Easter egg hunt in the garden 🐣🥚, searching high and low for hidden treats!

We’ve also enjoyed hopping like bunnies with Diddy Dance 🐰 and getting messy making yummy cornflake cakes 🧁💛

We hope all our families have a wonderful, relaxing break and enjoy lots of special moments together.

What a wonderful World Book Day week we’ve had at Little Greenfields Preschool!📚✨

We all loved and enjoyed seeing everyone’s amazing costumes for World Book Day, there were so many fantastic characters!

Throughout the week we shared our favourite stories, read them together during circle time, enjoyed some messy tuff tray activities inspired by books, and even made our own bookmarks to use with our favourite stories.

It has been such a lovely way to celebrate the magic of reading and encourage a love of books from an early age❤️📖

We’ve had such a creative start to the new year here at Little Greenfield’s Preschool!

Our little learners have been busy making plenty of wonderful crafts 🎨✂️, showing off their best moves with lots of Diddy Dance dancing 💃🕺, and exploring so many different textures through messy tuff tray play 🤲🌈

From paint and glue to squishy, splashy sensory fun, it’s been amazing to see their imaginations and confidence grow every day. We are so proud of all their creativity and enthusiasm!

We had an amazing few months full of learning, laughter and lots of festive fun. The children absolutely loved getting into the Christmas spirit with messy play tuff trays, creative arts and crafts (from beautiful baubles to Santa plates), baking and decorating gingerbread men, and finishing off with our Christmas sing-along – they were all AMAZING ⭐🎶

We are so proud of how much the children have grown last term and want to thank our families for all of your support.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. 🎅🎄❤️

Our children have loved getting creative for Children in Need! From dressing up, to messy tuff-tray fun, to making our very own Pudsey bears — we’ve had a day full of smiles, colour and kindness 💛🐻

This week we’ve been learning about Remembrance Day, making our own poppies, exploring textures in our tuff trays, and talking about what it means to remember❤️🌹🌺

Our little learners have been celebrating Bonfire Night with lots of exciting, creative activities! 🧡🔥

They’ve been:
🎨 Drawing sparkly firework patterns in sensory trays
🌟 Creating dazzling glitter firework pictures
🖍️ Designing their own bonfire collages with glue and colourful materials
✨ And even making their very own sparklers!

It’s been a wonderful way to explore colours, textures and creativity while learning about this celebration💥🎆

🎃 Spooky season is in full swing at Little Greenfields Preschool! From pumpkin carving and messy sensory tuff trays to the cutest costumes around — we’ve been having a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween! 🧙‍♀️👻🕷️

Today we have enjoyed lots of messy textured play, includng making a pumpkin slime, a spooky scary water tray and a sensory tray using cereals and coco powder.
All of the children have loved exploring the different textures, discussing the ones we liked best. 🎃🕷️🦇🍂
