Many congratulations to 6.2 student Xingzhi who recently received a bronze medal at the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics that took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This marks the 5th consecutive year that a Concord student has won an IOI medal.

Congratulations once again to all of our wonderful 6.2 students who have received their A Level results this morning.
The Concord A Level class of 2026 have achieved some spectacular successes.
More news later but in summary 38% of all grades were A*, nearly 100 students have achieved three As or better and thirty-six students achieved three A* grades or better.

We are delighted to share news that Winnie and Annie have both won a Gold Award at the World Invention Creativity Olympics over the summer! 🥇
The sisters competed against over 1,200 participants from 26 countries. Most teams worked in groups of 4 or 5, but Winnie and Annie competed as individuals, each with their own project, presenting to a single judge. These projects were completed in their own time beyond their busy College studies.

Our Sixth Form adventurers are currently doing their Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition in Scotland! 🛶⛺
With our final assembly of the year later today, we are celebrating 6.2 students' time at Concord and their hard work, achievements & friendships that have made their time here so special 😊

Over the weekend, our 6.1 students enjoyed an outdoor education trip to the Conway Centre in Anglesey, Wales! Across four days of activities, the students took part in rock climbing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, coasteering, gorge walking and sailing! 🚵♀️🚣♂️🌲
