Stargazers Nursery

Following on from our email yesterday regarding storm Goretti.
After careful consideration for the safety of our children, families and staff team the decision has been made to close Stargazers Nursery today, Friday 9th January 2026.

We appreciate that this closure may cause inconvenience, but we thank you for your understanding.
Please all stay safe and enjoy the snow if you are able.
We'd love to see snow pictures on your child's Tapestry observations.

With Christmas dinner yesterday and parties all week, it is definitely feeling a lot like Christmas at Stargazers 🎅🌲🥳🎅

We had some very special 'little' visitors to the hospice this week. The parents at Stargazers Nursery donated food items to us for our kitchen to use to rustle up some tasty dishes for our patients.

And the children delivered the items to our lovely head chef Amy. They stopped for a little snack and then enjoyed the Gruffalo trail.

Little Stars, a local charity committed to supporting babies and children in need, is to open its first charity shop this Saturday, in The Darwin shopping centre in Shrewsbury.

👶 This community shop will offer a wide array of affordable, pre-loved baby, children, and maternity wear, and provide a space for families in need to access essential items.

📍 It will be located at The Collective on the ground floor of The Darwin.

🧒 Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 can start primary school in September 2024.
