Just launched!! The Shropshire Libraries Read-a-Lottery for

Between now and December go all in with your reading adventure and complete our brilliant new challenge!

Just collect your form from any of our libraries and then start by choosing one of the 12 themes to read about. You'll get a stamp after completing each one and - after you've got all 12 - be entered into a prize draw at the end of the year.

World Book Day is less than 4 weeks away!
Do you have any dressing up clothes from last year that no longer fit or are no longer wanted? Shropshire Shared Wardrobe are looking for donations so they can build up a collection of children's dressing up clothes that can be loaned out to local families, a great way of saving money and reducing waste.
Please bring any donations to the library so they can added to the collection and loved by another child. All dressing up clothes are welcome, not just those themed around World Book Day.

My toy shop is ready 😁

This is one of my favourite maths lessons to teach 🤩 children learning really quickly that the higher the denominator (bottom number) then the smaller the piece is. Those picking the 1/100 of a doughnut regretted their choice the moment I started cutting 🤣
