A major study by Durham University and the University of Oxford shows that specific learning difficulties like dyslexia are not identified equally among pupils in England. Analysing over 540,000 Year 6 pupils, the research found that children with the same attainment can be identified in one school but missed in another. Identification was higher in high achieving schools, lower in disadvantaged areas, less likely for girls, and much less likely for pupils with English as an Additional Language. Some lovely feedback received from Annette:
"Danielle was really professional and pleasant, very thorough and produced a report that reflects my daughter's strengths and difficulties well and makes useful recommendations. I would happily recommend Danielle to others wanting a dyslexia assessment."
