As we come to an end of Concord Summer School 2026 it's nice to reflect and celebrate everyone's achievements πŸ†

We held our annual academic and sporting awards ceremony followed by an impressive talent show featuring a variety of individual and group musical performances. There was even a live recital of every element in the periodic table! πŸ§ͺ🎀

Congratulations to all students, it's been brilliant to have you here with us. Enjoy the rest of your summer! β˜€οΈ

For their presentation of their environment project in their Business Ventures lesson, our Humanities students conducted a tour around the 'Museum of Anthropocene' (the period of time during which humanity has become a planetary force of change).

Each student explained an exhibit in the museum about something that humans have created which has impacted the environment. These included everything from single-use coffee cups, smartphone batteries, cruise ships, fast fashion, water bottles to machine-printed burgers!

Did you know it takes 7000 litres of water to make 1 pair of jeans?

Students enjoyed a lovely sunny Friday afternoon trip to our local historic market town of Shrewsbury last week. They explored the Harry Potter store, the Quarry park next to the river Severn, the Di**le garden and finished with a well earned ice cream! πŸ¦β˜€οΈ
