What a fabulous academic year we have had! There have been so many wonderful memories to reflect and look back on.

Our school summer holidays have now started. We wish our whole school community a happy and healthy summer holiday.

Community Fundraising event:

Tomorrow, a team of our Severndale staff will be taking part in the Dragon Boat Festival along the River Severn in Shrewsbury, raising money for Severn Hospice.

With the increase in temperatures, we wanted to share the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Water Safety Code to help our students to be safe in the community…

Weather this week:

It’s going to be a hot weather week this week. Please ensure your children are dressed for the weather, with light, cool clothing, hats and suncream.

Please apply suncream before school, and provide a named/labelled sun cream in your child’s bag for reapplication during the day.

Fundraiser:

Come and join the Summer Fun on the 6th June at The Wheatsheaf, Frankwell, Shrewsbury, SY3 8JY.
This small local fundraiser has been organised by the Frankwell Community group with all proceeds being donated to 'Friends of Severndale'.
Join us for live music, great food, games and at the same time support a great cause! ☀️

🥬 Lettuce Have Some Fun! 🥬

Today the children had the chance to explore different varieties of lettuce and taste them.
A big thank you to our wonderful kitchen team for making healthy eating fun and engaging! 💚

Attendance Week 2026 - that's a wrap!
What a fabulous week we have had this week! From large scale outdoor painting, picnics, a theatre show, and circus and drumming workshops, it's been a whole lot of fun!
Students have had opportunities to try new things, experience shared joy with their friends and hopefully have made a whole host of new memories.
We ended our week today with our carnival. The sun was shining and we were treated to dance performances, a guitar duet and singing!
