What a fantastic celebration of music at our Steve Fox Award Music Presentation! 🎢🌟

Pupils were invited to showcase what they have been learning in their music lessons, and what an incredible afternoon it was.
We were treated to a wide variety of performances, including duets, solo performances, original compositions, and band performances. The confidence, creativity and talent on display were truly inspiring.

The event concluded with the presentation of the Steve Fox Award, which was awarded to Harrison in recognition of his outstanding passion, dedication, perseverance and creativity in music. Harrison’s commitment and enthusiasm make him a very deserving recipient of this special award.

A huge well done to everyone who performed and shared their musical talents with us. We are so proud of all our pupils and the courage they showed in taking to the stage.

We really do have some exceptionally talented young musicians in our school! πŸŽ΅πŸ‘πŸŽΈ

πŸ“’ Non-School Uniform Day for Cancer Research UK - Friday 17th July 2026πŸŽ—οΈ
To help end our school year on a high, we will be holding a Non-School Uniform Day, on Friday 17th July 2026. Mr Coackley will be taking part in a skydive, and we would love your support in helping us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause. We are asking for a small donation in support of Cancer Research UK.
Here is a message from Mr Coackley:
On Saturday 8th August, I’ll be taking on a skydive in Whitchurch to raise money for Cancer Support UK in honour of a family member who has been affected by cancer. This cause is very close to my heart, and I want to help support the incredible work Cancer Support UK does for individuals and families facing the challenges that cancer brings. I hope to raise both awareness and vital funds for a charity that makes a real difference to so many lives. Every donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
To make your donation, please follow the link below.

Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a difference! πŸ’™
Please note that taking part in the non-school uniform day is entirely optional and you are in no way obliged to take part.

πŸŽπŸŒπŸ‡ Year 1 had a fantastic time making fruit salad faces today!
First, we designed our faces and then used our chopping, peeling and grating skills to bring them to life using a variety of fruits. The best part was enjoying our tasty creations and evaluating them afterwards.
Well done, Year 1! 😊

🐻✨ Reception Transition Activity ✨🐻

Yesterday, our Reception class shared a social story about Little Bear's feelings as he prepares to move from Reception to Year 1.

We talked about the different emotions that can come with change and explored these feelings by collecting prickly and smooth natural items to represent how Little Bear might be feeling. The children enjoyed discussing excitement, worries, and all the mixed emotions that come with starting a new adventure.

To finish our session, we gathered together around the fire and toasted marshmallows, giving us time to reflect on our wonderful year in Reception and look forward to the exciting journey ahead.

We are so proud of how thoughtfully the children shared their ideas and feelings. 🌿πŸ”₯🍑

🌟 We are so proud of all our Year 6 children who took part in Gigglebox! 🌟

Every single one of them shone on stage and demonstrated incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work throughout the production. Their confidence, talent, and teamwork made the performance truly special, and they should be extremely proud of what they achieved.

Well done, Year 6 – you were amazing! πŸ‘βœ¨πŸŽπŸ’›

β˜€οΈ Warm Weather Reminder - Week Beginning 13th July 2026β˜€οΈ

Although the weather is not forecast to be quite as hot this week, children are still welcome to come to school in their PE kit.

As we are likely to continue experiencing warm weather, please ensure that your child:
βœ… Brings a named water bottle to school each day
βœ… Brings a named sun hat or cap
βœ… Has sun cream applied before school (and brings additional sun cream if they can apply it independently)
βœ… Wears suitable clothing for the warm conditions

We will continue to encourage regular water breaks and make use of shaded areas whenever possible to help keep children safe and comfortable.

Thank you for your continued support. πŸŒžπŸ’›
