📻 Enrichment Group - Radio Station Club 📻

On Friday, the children had their first opportunity to get hands-on with the radio station equipment. They enjoyed learning how to use the recording equipment and had great fun recording and listening back to their own voices!

It was a fantastic introduction to the club, and everyone showed enthusiasm, confidence and creativity as they explored the world of broadcasting. We are looking forward to developing our skills further and creating more recordings in the coming weeks. 🎙️✨

🌟 National Teaching Assistants' Day 🌟

In our Class Worship this week, the children spent some time learning about National Teaching Assistants' Day, which is being celebrated today, Friday 25th September.

We are incredibly grateful for everything our wonderful LSAs do to support our children and families each and every day. Their care, dedication, encouragement and hard work make a huge difference to school life.

As a special thank you, some of the children in 2S created beautiful cards for their LSAs to let them know just how much they are appreciated. 💙

Thank you to all of our amazing LSAs for the positive impact you make every day – we are so lucky to have you as part of our school family! ✨

💗🦄 Lilah Day - Friday 9th October 🧡

As a school community, we would like to show our support for Lilah and her family during this difficult time.

On Friday 9th October, we will be holding a special non-uniform "Lilah Day".
Lilah's favourite colour is pink and she loves unicorns or orange.

Children are invited to come to school dressed in pink, orange, or a unicorn-themed outfit and bring a £1 cash donation (you are welcome to donate more if you wish to do so).
All money raised will go directly to support Lilah and her family.

Thank you for helping us come together as a school family to show Lilah just how much she is loved and supported. 💗🧡🦄

🍂🔢 Counting in Reception 🔢🍂

In Maths, we have been learning to count carefully and accurately. The children have enjoyed counting a variety of different objects to find the total, including shells, cars, bricks and autumn treasures! 🐚🚗🧱🍁

We have been working on touching each object once as we count and saying the number names in the correct order. The children have shown great concentration and enthusiasm, and have been developing their confidence with numbers every day.

What fantastic mathematicians we have in Reception! ⭐😊
