Thank You, Marvellous Men & Helpful Heroes! 💙

A huge thank you to all the Marvellous Men and Helpful Heroes who joined us for brunch today. We hope you enjoyed spending some special time with your children and making happy memories together.

Despite the very warm weather, your support and enthusiasm made the event such a success, and we really appreciate everyone who came along.

A special thank you also goes to our amazing volunteers, who spent the morning preparing and serving brunch for everyone. We couldn’t have done it without their hard work and dedication.

Thank you again for supporting FOSS and our school community. We look forward to welcoming our next Marvellous Men & Helpful Heroes group to Monday’s session (don’t forget your sunscreen 😎)☀️💛🧡

We are extremely proud of our Year 4 students who held a fundraising event last week to raise money for Cancer Research UK and World Wildlife Fund. They have worked so hard behind the scenes, gathering donations and planning their stalls and we are thrilled to announce, that collectively, they have raised £467.75! 🤩👏

On Friday, Shorne Primary proudly took part in the Sullivan Tournament alongside other local primary schools, and what a day it was!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Shrone Primary secured 1st place! 🥇🎉

A huge thank you to the teachers and staff who supported and prepared the team, and to everyone involved in organising the event.👏

Champions of the Trust Games: Football Round ⚽🏆

What an incredible performance from our pupils at last Thursday’s Trust Games football event!

Across 14 exciting rounds of matches, our team showed fantastic teamwork, determination and brilliant sportsmanship from start to finish.

We are so proud to announce that Shorne finished in 1st place in the football standings - an amazing achievement! The team should be incredibly proud of themselves for representing the school so brilliantly. 🥇👏

Next up is the final round of Trust Games on Tuesday 14th July: Athletics! With double points available, there is still everything to play for, and we can’t wait to cheer our team on again!

A huge thank you to Wickes Gravesend for your generous donation towards our garden project. Your support is greatly appreciated and will make a real difference to the development of our garden.

The project is helping to create a calm and welcoming outdoor space for our children to enjoy, reflect and work together in. The children involved have taken great pride in helping with the gardening project, and your donation will help us continue to develop this special area for the whole school community.

Thank you once again for your kindness and support of our pupils and school.

Our bear is officially on the move! 🐻✨

Now fully finished, varnished, and carefully packaged, our bear has begun its journey to its special location on this summer’s Bear Trail.

We’re so proud of the final result and can’t wait to find out where our bear will be spotted! 👀
