📚 What a first year of tutoring!

After my first year running my tutoring business, I wanted to share a few highlights now that GCSE & A Level results are in!

I had the pleasure of working with up to 10 tutees, gaining experience working with 3 different neurodiverse students, and I’m incredibly proud that every student met — and often exceeded — their goals!

A few highlights:
🎓 GCSE student: 5 predicted → 8 achieved
⚛️ A Level Physics: Failing → B + dream university
📐 A Level Maths: E in mocks → A* with 90%+ after just 2 months of twice-weekly sessions!

It’s been brilliant seeing the hard work pay off, and I’m so proud of every student I’ve worked with this year!

I have a couple of spaces available for the new academic year for GCSE Maths & Science and A Level Physics, Maths & Further Maths.

👋 Hi, I'm Cam Kinross, and I'm currently looking to take on 2–3 new students for online tuition alongside my new career as a Nuclear Engineering Consultant starting this September.

Although I'll soon be working full-time in engineering, tutoring has become a genuine passion of mine over the last three years, and I'd love to continue helping students build confidence and achieve their goals.

💻 How lessons work

All lessons are taught online using Zoom or Bitpaper, an excellent interactive online whiteboard. There's nothing to download—I'll simply send you a link, and we're ready to begin.

🎓 About me

* First Class Master's degree in Physics from the University of Bristol
* Achieved 3 A*s at A-Level
* Achieved eight Grade 9s, one Grade 8, one Grade 7 and an A* in GCSE Further Mathematics
* Highest-performing student in my year at Shoreham Academy State school

🌍 Tutoring experience

Over the past three years I've had the privilege of teaching a wide range of students, including:

* Tutoring entire online Sixth Form classes in Islamabad, Pakistan
* One-to-one tuition for GCSE and A-Level students across multiple subjects
* Managing up to 12 regular students during the past year while living and working remotely in Spain

Whether a student is aiming for top grades, preparing for exams, or simply looking to gain confidence, I tailor every lesson to suit their individual needs and learning style.
