Today's afternoon has been filled with a series of engaging and insight-led sessions focused on creativity, attraction, and long-term workforce sustainability.

We were delighted to hear from Tiffany Black, Creative Strategist at Scrumptious Marketing, who delivered an impactful session on the art of storytelling, exploring how powerful, authentic narratives can elevate employer brands, strengthen engagement, and create deeper connections.

This was followed by Co-owner and Chief Commercial Officer, Holly Hobbs from urfuture, who shared valuable insights into attraction and recruitment.

We then brought the day together with a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Building and Retaining Your Workforce”, hosted by our Licensed Trade Director, Jeremy Scorer.

The discussion brought together all of our speakers' expert perspectives, including Alex Taylor, Learning and Development Manager at Harrison Catering Services and Claire Belford, an Early Careers and Apprenticeships Business Partner from Sodexo UK & Ireland.

Together, they explored the challenges and opportunities facing employers today, sharing practical insight on how organisations can successfully attract, develop and retain talent in an increasingly competitive landscape.

A huge thank you to all of our speakers and attendees for contributing to such an insightful and impactful day.

Today we’re proud to be hosting our The Opportunity Provider Ltd (TOP) Employer Summit at Millennium Point in Birmingham.

This day is dedicated to supporting employers with practical, actionable insights to strengthen organisational strategies for the future.

We’ve had a strong start to the event with opening addresses from our Managing Director, Mike Worley, and our Chief Commercial Officer, Matt Robinson.

We were then privileged to hear from Laura-Jane Rawlings, CEO of Youth Employment UK, who delivered valuable insights into early careers strategy. Her session focused on how employers can play a pivotal role in bridging the skills gap, creating meaningful opportunities for young people.

Following this, Simon Ashworth, Director of Policy and Deputy Chief Executive at AELP, provided a comprehensive overview of the apprenticeship landscape.

It’s been an insightful morning so far, with plenty of valuable takeaways already being shared - and we look forward to continuing throughout the rest of the day.

We’re incredibly proud to be ranked #28 in The Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers, and even prouder to be the only training provider recognised in the Top 100.

Because for us, apprenticeships aren’t just what we deliver.

They’re what we believe in.

They’re how we grow our own people, develop talent from within, create meaningful career pathways and build the skills our business needs for the future.

As a National training provider, we talk every day about the power of apprenticeships to upskill workforces, improve social mobility and help organisations succeed. But what makes this recognition so special is that we don’t just talk the talk - we live it.

We invest in apprenticeships for our own colleagues because we know first-hand the impact they have on confidence, capability, careers and business performance.

As proud members of the 5% Club, we’re committed to proving that apprenticeships are not just a route into work, they are a powerful way to develop, retain and inspire talent at every level.

This recognition reflects who we are: a business that believes apprenticeships strengthen organisations, change lives, and shape the workforce of the future.
And we’re proud to be leading by example.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that The Opportunity Provider (TOP) has been recognised in this year’s The Times and The Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers! 🎉

Ranked 28th, this recognition reflects our commitment to developing talent – starting with our own people. By experiencing the apprenticeship journey themselves, our teams bring real insight and empathy to the learners and employers we support.

As an apprenticeship and training provider, we see every day the impact of developing people – and we don’t just say it, we live it. We invest in our teams through apprenticeships and continuous professional development that help our people grow, progress, and thrive.

When our people develop, so does our impact – our learners receive better support, and our employers benefit from stronger, more skilled teams. When learning is embedded into culture, not just curriculum, it changes outcomes at every level.

Your brain isn’t built for constant task-switching or back-to-back work - which is why focus can feel so difficult. 🔄

In our upcoming webinar this Wednesday at 2pm, How Your Brain Likes to Work, we’ll explore how your brain naturally functions, from the rhythm of your energy throughout the day to what’s really happening when you multitask, and why unfinished tasks keep pulling at your attention.

You’ll leave with simple, practical habits to make thinking feel lighter and help you stay focused for longer.

Design your day around your brain - not against it. 🧠

📅 Today marks the start of , celebrating this year’s theme: 🧭

Learning doesn’t follow a single path - it happens in many ways, at every stage of life. From hands‑on experience to structured training, inclusive and lifelong learning helps people build skills for both personal growth and career success.

Apprenticeships are a powerful example of this in action. They provide flexible, practical routes to develop on the job, supporting individuals from their first role through to leadership progression.

Throughout the week, we’ll be recognising the apprentices and employers who champion learning in all its forms - and highlighting how apprenticeships open doors to learn, grow and succeed every day. ✨
