It was a privilege to be part of an evening dedicated to recognising the achievements and contributions of family businesses from across the UK.

The event brought together business leaders, owners and next-generation members, creating a valuable opportunity to celebrate success, share experiences and build meaningful connections.

A huge congratulations to all of the winners and finalists. Being recognised is a fantastic achievement, and it was a pleasure to celebrate the hard work, dedication and success behind each story.

At EDN, we're proud to work alongside employers and learners across the country, helping people gain the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to succeed.

Today's Youth Employment UK Week theme, , is a reminder that creating opportunities is only part of the journey. We also need to ensure those opportunities are accessible to every young person, regardless of their background or individual needs.

Apprenticeships are a powerful way to help young people gain valuable skills, build confidence and develop rewarding careers. But for opportunities to be truly inclusive, we must also remove the barriers that can prevent learners from applying, succeeding and thriving.

That's why EDN is one of the few apprenticeship providers with its own dedicated SENDCo team. Every apprentice has access to specialist support, ensuring the right adjustments are in place from the very start of their journey.

For many learners, this personalised approach has turned what once seemed impossible into possible - proving that when we remove barriers and embed sustainable support, everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
