Apple 🍏 frangipane tart, this is a really good recipe to allow the young chefs to use chopping and cutting skills, we use protective gloves 🧤 so they are able to use sharp utensils to chop the apples, then the frangipane which is a creamy mixture of ground almonds, butter, sugar and eggs, a lovely finish to a perfect dessert 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

I still call it shepherds pie 🥧 but in actual fact it’s cottage pie, so only difference is shepherds is lamb cottage is beef , as usual we add as many vegetables as possible, the sauce is tomato 🍅 and beefy , a real winner with the creamy mash potatoes 🥔, perfect 🤩
