Dream Makers Performing Arts are proud to present ✨ Annie Jr. ✨

Our incredible cast have been working tirelessly over the past few months, learning scripts, perfecting songs, mastering choreography and bringing this much-loved musical to life. Their dedication, enthusiasm and talent have been amazing to watch, and we can’t wait to share the show with you!

Get ready for all your favourite songs, plenty of laughs, heartwarming moments and a performance that will leave you smiling from start to finish. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Annie or seeing it for the first time, this is a show the whole family will enjoy.

✨ What a day to remember! ✨

Thankyou to Newton Carnival for having us!

A huge thank you to every single child who took part in Newton Carnival on Saturday. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you! ❤️

After many late nights and countless hours spent planning, painting and decorating, Charlotte and I were absolutely thrilled with how our Annie themed float came together. We would also like to say a huge thank you to Ozma, who spent the day before the carnival helping us get everything set up and ready. We couldn’t have done it without your help! ❤️

The children looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes. From Annie, the orphans, maids, servants, Miss Hannigan, Warbucks, Grace and everyone in between – every single costume helped bring our float to life. You all looked amazing! 🎭

What made the day even more special was the incredible energy from the children. They sang their hearts out to the Annie soundtrack for the entire parade, never losing their enthusiasm or excitement. Their smiles, commitment and love for performing were infectious, and it was wonderful to see so many people along the route singing and clapping along with them.

Then came the biggest surprise of the day…

🥇 1st PLACE! 🥇

To say we were shocked would be an understatement! There were so many incredible floats in the parade, and we genuinely couldn’t believe it when Dream Makers was announced as the winner.

While we were so proud of the float and all the decorations, we truly believe this award belongs to the children. ❤️

It wasn’t the balloons, banners or hand-painted signs that won first place – it was them.

Their energy, enthusiasm, commitment and passion for performing brought our float to life. As we returned to the showground, they were still singing Tomorrow at the top of their voices, and seeing so many people in the crowd singing along with them was such a special moment. It’s one we’ll never forget. 💛

A huge thank you also goes to all of the parents who helped us unload everything at the end of the day. After spending hours decorating the float, it was all off again in what felt like 10 minutes! 😂 Your help was so appreciated.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along to support us and cheered us on throughout the parade.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Dream Makers family. Here’s to making even more amazing memories together! ❤️✨

✨ 3 Years of Dream Makers Performing Arts ✨

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone – 3 years of Dream Makers Performing Arts! 💛

What started as a dream has grown into a wonderful family of dancers, performers, singers, and supporters who inspire us every single day. Over the past three years, we have shared countless memories, achieved amazing successes, built lifelong friendships, and most importantly, helped our students grow in confidence both on and off the stage.

To every student who has walked through our doors, every parent who has trusted us, every teacher who has shared their passion, and every supporter who has cheered us on – thank you. None of this would have been possible without you.

We are so proud of everything we have achieved together and incredibly excited for what the future holds. Here’s to continuing to dream big, work hard, and create even more magical moments together.

Pyjamas, blankets, snacks, laughter, singing along and lots of smiles made for the perfect cosy movie night 🎬✨

Seeing our students making memories, building friendships and simply enjoying time together is exactly what Dream Makers is all about 🫶

Tomorrow our amazing Year 6 children begin their SATs and we just want you all to know how incredibly proud we are of every single one of you.

You have worked so hard, shown determination, resilience and courage, and now it’s your time to shine. Remember that SATs do not define who you are — your kindness, creativity, talent and wonderful personalities matter so much more.

Take a deep breath, believe in yourselves and do your best… because that is more than enough 💛
