We provide quality care and education in a nurturing, friendly and stimulating environment for children aged 2-4 years. Shipston Pre-School is a non-profit making organisation that has been successfully providing quality childcare within the school community for over 40 years, and graded OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in July 2012. We are conveniently located next door to the Childrens Centre and adjacent

to Shipston-on-Stour Primary School During term time we have accommodation for up to 24 children, aged 2 to 4 years. Our building offers an inviting and well-equipped play room and we pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive and varied range of stimulating materials, educational toys and pre-school activities for all children to enjoy. Outside we have an enclosed play area and garden and we also have regular opportunities to make good use of the excellent, safe space that is the primary school playing fields. We follow Warwickshire County Council term dates and are focused on providing childcare for children of pre-school age. Although our core business hours are 9am to 3pm care can be provided as early as 8.30am until as late as 4.00pm if required. At Shipston Pre-School we welcome children from our immediate community and all surrounding areas. We are particularly proud of our incredibly friendly and fully-qualified staff team who are always ready and willing to support the children- and each other- in all they do. And finally...

We believe in building on the strong educational start children receive from their parents and carers at home. Our aim, in partnership with those same parents and carers, is to support and encourage all children in our care as they progress through their pre-school experience, enabling them to emerge- at the age of 4- ready, willing and able to participate fully in life at 'Big School'

☀️ Summer HAF is coming up! ☀️

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is back this summer!

If your child:
✅ Receives benefits-related free school meals
✅ Is in Reception – Year 11
Then they might be eligible for a HAF code!

HAF codes give your child access to free activities and food during the school holidays – at no cost to parents/carers.

💡 What’s included?
Up to 16 activities over the Summer holidays
Up to 4 activities in Winter and 4 in Spring
A free meal included with every activity – no need to pack lunch!
