Little Room have loved planting seeds this week. They have remembered what to do to plant them and help them grow. After planting the seeds we used the tuff tray to explore the texture of the compost and used the trowels to practice scooping and filling the pots 🌻🪴

Babies have had lots of fun making music this week, exploring different ways to make sounds by tapping, banging, shaking and pressing buttons on the musical sensory toys to make them light up and make music too!

NATIONAL BEE DAY 🐝

Movers loved exploring the tuff tray, transferring the black and yellow oats with scoops and spoons into different sized containers. They loved dressing up in the bee costume, looking at pictures of real bees, drawing bees and searching for the bees in the oats.

Big Room have been looking at The Very Hungry Caterpillar and have loved tasting some of the things the caterpillar eats. They've been using knives to cut their own fruit safely.

They've also been on a bug hunt and found many interesting bugs! They made a little home for a snail and have named him "Mr Snail". The children have had so much fun and showed great care for the insects that they've found whilst learning about life cycles.

🌸🌼Little Room have had great fun using their senses to explore messy play, smelling new herbs and looking at the different colours of the flowers. Today they mixed the herbs and flowers together to make potions,perfumes and cups of tea. During the activity the children enjoyed pouring the jugs, squeezing the pippets and using the tweezers. We are recruiting for a Domestic Help/Chef, to work 5 days a week 9.30am-2.30pm at our unique,friendly nursery setting.
We are also looking to recruit lunch cover 11am-3pm 5 days a week.
