This year our Year 6 leavers' production was ANNIE. All the hard work and the tremendous effort paid off. It was full-on amazing, with hits like 'It's a Hard Knock Life' and 'Maybe Tomorrow'. Yew class put on a show fit for Broadway - our costumes, props, singing, acting and dancing were spectacular! By Tia (Annie)

KS1 Sports Day! 🥇🥈🥉🏆
Lovely weather, happy children and great energy all round. Our KS1 pupils really enjoyed themselves, and it was wonderful to have so many parents there to cheer them on. Huge thanks to everyone who attended.
A special shoutout to all the parents who joined in the egg and spoon race; you were brilliant, and the children absolutely loved it. Kanga Sports

In Year 6 this week we have been writing messages of encouragement to the England Football Team. Everyone tried their best and we had some extremely passionate pieces but Brandon's was chosen as our winner. Well done Brandon!
So England football team this is for you... ⚽️
England- we are so proud of what you have achieved so far! In your recent game, you won against Croatia (who knocked you out last world cup)- you finally got your revenge! We know how hard it was against Ghana because they pressured you so well. Don't worry though - you are doing your best and we appreciate what you're doing for us.
The temperature, which must be dangerously high, must be making it harder for you to do your magic. I know you have hydration breaks but you mustn't let that ruin your concentration. Don't let the away fans get to your head: keep your eyes on the prize! Try your best to bring the World Cup home but most importantly...enjoy it!

Year 4 visited The Royal Armouries in Leeds. The most important question was: "Is it lunchtime yet?"😂
We enjoyed looking at different weapons and armour from different periods of history. We were also lucky enough to watch a Viking vs Saxon battle, we asked lots of questions to find out more about battles and the weapons used.

Children enjoyed an exciting performance from Daryl Hackett in Wednesday's KS2 Zephaniah Collective Worship. Daryl demonstrated his circus skills of juggling, diablo and spinning to an enthralled audience while sharing how he had developed his skills and used Creativity.
Creativity is our Christian value this half-term and Daryl expressed the importance of passion, dedication and resilience. His final message was that he has spent more time picking things up than keeping them in the air and the ability to keep on going and never giving up was essential.
