As another wonderful school year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing families for your continued support throughout the year.

Today, we celebrated our Year 4 Leavers' Service, which was a very special and emotional occasion as we said goodbye to our fantastic Year 4 pupils. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them every success and happiness as they begin their next adventure.

A huge thank you to St. Leonard's Church for their kindness in presenting our Year 4 children with the gift of a Bible. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

We hope all of our families have a wonderful, safe, happy and relaxing summer holiday. Enjoy making special memories together.

☀️ Sports Day 2026 ☀️

Third time lucky! After being postponed because of the rain, then moved again because it was just too hot, we finally got to enjoy our Sports Day.

From our tiniest Saplings to our amazing Year 4s (who finished the day with their fantastic fancy dress race!), every child gave it their all. We loved seeing so much determination, encouragement and smiling faces throughout the day.

And finally... a huge congratulations to our overall winners...

A huge thank you to our amazing Friends of Shipham School (FOSS) for hosting such a fantastic end-of-term BBQ and celebration for our Year 4 leavers and all of our wonderful school families.
It was a brilliant evening filled with laughter, great food, fun, and the chance for everyone to come together to celebrate another successful school year. Seeing so many smiling faces and families enjoying time together made it a truly special event, and we're so grateful to everyone who came along to support it.
Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible dedication, time, and hard work of our FOSS volunteers. Throughout the year, they do so much behind the scenes to raise vital funds that directly benefit our children, helping to provide opportunities, resources, and experiences that enrich school life for everyone.
Thank you, FOSS, for everything you do for our school community. Your support, enthusiasm, and commitment make such a difference, and we are incredibly lucky to have you.

🌍 Exploring the Big Wide World in Willow Class! 🌍

This term our Willow children have been busy exploring the big wide world.

This week the older children have been learning all about Japan and had the opportunity to try seaweed sheets – one of the ingredients used to make sushi! There were definitely some mixed reviews! 😄 Mrs Netto even popped in to join the taste test, saying she loves seaweed when it's wrapped around sushi, but it's certainly an acquired taste on its own!

Meanwhile, our younger children have been developing their cooking skills by making delicious mini pizzas. 🍕 They were so proud of their creations and couldn't wait to show their parents at home time. 🌍
