🌿 Mid-Week Mingle – Willow & Saplings 🌿

Today, Willow and Saplings came together to continue their inquiry learning in their mid-week mingle session💚 The children enjoyed exploring our very own Forest School area, going on a hunt to discover the different areas and see what they could find. 🌳 We are so lucky to have such a wonderful outdoor space for the children to explore, learn and discover together! 🌱✨

📖 National Poetry Day 2026 📖

Today we celebrated National Poetry Day across our school.

Poetry helps us to explore our imagination, express our feelings, and play with the wonderful sounds and rhythms of language. Throughout the day, our children enjoyed poems, wrote their own verses, and discovering how powerful words can be.

Why not join in at home? Share a favourite poem, read together as a family, or even have a go at creating your own!

🐻 EYFS Went on a Bear Hunt! 🌿

Willow and Sapling classes had a wonderful Forest School session yesterday and were so happy to welcome their friends from Draycott School.

Together, the children went on their very own ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ adventure, travelling through the long grass, splashing through the river, squelching through the mud, exploring the forest, battling through the snowstorm and finally making their way into the Forest School cave! 💦❄️🌳

The children worked together to hunt for the bears hiding along the way, and once they had found them all, they were rewarded with a yummy hot chocolate and biscuit! ☕️🍪

It was a wonderful morning filled with imagination, adventure, teamwork and lots of muddy fun!
