A huge ‘Thank You’ to our community far and wide for your thoughts and prayers and of course the fire teams for acting so quickly.

The initial investigations show this was an accidental fire due to the heat.

We are already exploring options for temporary accommodation for classrooms onsite and will keep you all updated moving forward.

We have carried out an initial investigation into the fire, and this has concluded that the cause was accidental.

UPDATE: 16:30

The fire has been brought under control and we will be starting to scale back our attendance at this incident shortly. People should continue to avoid the area but previous advice around doors and windows is no longer applicable.

We are currently in attendance at a building fire in Pound Green Lane, Shipdham, with further crews also on the way.
Please stay clear of the area to allow us to work safely.
Local residents affected by smoke plume should keep doors and windows closed.

Last week we received our 2026 KS2 SATs results, and we couldn't be prouder of our amazing Year 6 pupils. Congratulations to you all on your hard work, determination and resilience. 🌟

We're delighted to share that 85% of our pupils achieved the expected standard across all areas, compared with 63% nationally.

A huge well done. We wish our Year 6 leavers every success as they begin the next exciting chapter of their journey, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Friends Of Shipdham School for organising another hugely successful School Fete this year! 🎉

Thanks to all of your hard work and the incredible support from our school community, an amazing almost £2,000 has been raised for our children. 👏

A heartfelt thank you also goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Whether you were setting up, running a stall, baking delicious cakes, donating raffle prizes, or helping behind the scenes. Every contribution, big or small, made a real difference. Without the support of so many wonderful volunteers, events like this simply wouldn't be possible.

And finally, a special shout-out to our amazing teachers for being such great sports and taking their turn in the stocks! 😂 You certainly helped make the day even more memorable!

Thank you once again to everyone who gave their time, energy and generosity. What a fantastic example of our school community coming together for the benefit of our children. 💙

🎓✨ On Monday, we were delighted to welcome families to celebrate our wonderful Nursery children at their Graduation Ceremony.

It was a special occasion to reflect on how much they have grown in confidence, independence and curiosity throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved.

Wherever their next adventure takes them, we wish all of our graduates every success as they begin Reception this September. Keep shining and enjoy every moment of your next chapter! 🌟

Today we said a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 6 children during our Leavers' Church Service.

This morning, we came together to celebrate all they have achieved since joining Thomas Bullock. We are incredibly proud of the young people they have become and of everything they have accomplished during their time with us.

As they prepare to begin the next exciting chapter of their journey at high school, we wish each and every one of them every success, happiness and confidence for the future. Keep believing in yourselves, embrace every opportunity and never stop being the amazing individuals you are.

Reception had a brilliant trip to Gressenhall Rural Life Museum for their Once Upon a Time workshop! ✨

They met lots of familiar characters from traditional tales as they set off on a magical quest to find the missing museum items before the grand ball. It was a fantastic day full of storytelling, adventure, and fun! 🏰📚
