No obligation to join or become a member - just come along and see what the Gala Committee do for the village of Sherburn.

Or if you are looking for a new group to join that brings the village together, the Gala Association might be right up your street!

We are always looking for new volunteers, even if it is for just a few hours on Gala Day 💛

Would your child like to be our next Gala Queen or an Attendant?

Alma is on the hunt for the 2027 Gala royalty 👑

The Gala next year will be held on Saturday, May 15th - if your child would like to be involved, please fill out the form below and DM it back to us :) or give to one of the Gala Committee members.

We will announce the Queen and Attendants at the Gala Christmas Party on Sunday 13th December, following a random draw 😘

Attendants: 6-10 years old
Queen: 14 - 16 years old

Go along to Eversley Park tomorrow for this fantastic community event! 🥳

Whilst not organised or associated with the Gala Committee, it is an amazing family-fun-filled day for Sherburn in Elmet!

It is so important to support events like this so they can continue to happen - go have an incredible time in the sunshine! 🎉☀️

🎉 We're almost there! 🎉

Picnic in the Park is just around the corner, and we can't wait to welcome you all for what promises to be a fantastic day! 🌞🎶

The gates will open at 11.00 am, giving you plenty of time to find the perfect picnic spot before the music gets underway. Any Gazebos are welcome but we do ask that they are pitched around the perimeter of the field to ensure everyone can see the band performances.

🎸 Live music begins at 12.15 pm with the brilliant young local band Astrestos – they're definitely not to be missed!

With the forecast looking hot, hot, hot ☀️, please come prepared

Tonight was our first committee meeting after Gala Day, and Alma would like to share one finally HUGE thank you 😊

Thanks to all the volunteers both on the committee and those who helped on the day ❤️

Thanks to all the businesses who supported us, selling programmes, decorating your window, and all your other support 💛

To all the people who made the day extra special, including the stall holders, sponsors, advertisers, those involved in the parade etc 💚

And of course to you, the people who attended and supported us on our 50th Gala 💖

And everyone in-between!

We sincerely hope you enjoyed it and made some beautiful family memories ❤️
