* Children make good progress, relative to their starting points. The manager's good
systems of monitoring the effectiveness of the learning programme enables her to
identify any gaps in children's progress. Staff address any gaps well, so the children do not fall behind. For example, older children's literacy improved when staff changed
displays of books, so th

ey can more easily select these independently.

* Children are happy and confident, with good self-esteem. The key-person system is
particularly effective in helping babies to quickly settle in and develop strong bonds
with staff. Children of all ages show through their good behaviour that they feel

We provide sessional care for 50 weeks of the year, for children aged 3 months up to 4 years of age. We have separate rooms which accommodate the different age groups of the children who attend.

Are you looking for a flexible role that fits in with your family life?

We are looking for a reliable part time member of staff, who is a kind, friendly, team player, full of fun and with a strong desire and ability to respond to children's needs.

The position starts in September, and you will be based in the under 3’s room.

Term time working will be considered.

Holwell Nursery is in the beautiful village of Holwell between Sherborne and Sturminster Newton. We offer a wonderful spacious indoor and outdoor provision caring for and educating children from 3 months to 5 years. We are OFSTED rated 'Good' and are excited to be welcoming a new member onto our friendly, talented team!

Job type: Flexible permanent, part time - term time only working available.

We offer:
28 days’ paid holiday (pro rata for part time staff)
* Contributory pension scheme
* Support and funding for training
* Paid lunchbreak
* On site parking

All roles are closely monitored; the successful candidate will be subject to stringent DBS checks and will be required to provide two references from previous employers.

Experience:
· Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: Up to £10,500.00 per year depending on hours worked.
