This September, the Sherborne community is coming together for three Careers and Networking Evenings in Media, Property and Insurance.

These informal events are an opportunity to meet fellow OS, OGs and members of the wider Sherborne community working in your sector whether you are an experienced professional, at the beginning of your career or simply exploring where your interests might take you.

For established professionals, it is a chance to strengthen your professional network, reconnect with fellow Shirburnians and share your experience.

For recent leavers, it is an opportunity to meet people working in the industry, ask questions and gain a better understanding of the opportunities ahead.

Have you heard of Q?

Q is the section of the Old Shirburnian Society exclusively for Old Shirburnians who left Sherborne 50 or more years ago. If you left in 1975 or earlier, you are eligible to join us.

Although Q has been thriving for many years, we know that a surprising number of OS are unaware that it exists. We therefore wanted to make sure that you knew about it and had the opportunity to become involved.

Q meets annually, alternating between a gathering at School and a lunch in London. Our next meeting will be held at Sherborne in September, and invitations will be sent out shortly. As with all our Sherborne events, wives and partners are very welcome to attend.

The events are relaxed and friendly occasions, providing an excellent opportunity to renew old acquaintances, share memories and hear about life at the School today. Many members attend on their own and are assured of a warm welcome.

We hope to welcome you to Q in the near future.

P.S. Our annual events alternate between Sherborne and London. Because of venue size constraints, the London lunches are for OS members only, but wives and partners are always welcome at our Sherborne gatherings.

15 Years Later! 🥂✨
It was wonderful to see so many OS and Old Girls from the joint Class of 2011 catching up at The Clarence in Mayfair on Wednesday, 10 May.

The room was packed with laughter, nostalgia, and decades of catching up—with many alumni seeing each other for the very first time since leaving school. Thank you to everyone who made the trip to celebrate this milestone 15-Year Reunion!

Last Saturday, OS and current and former staff came together to celebrate Wallace House before its closure at the end of term.

While the day was emotional for many, it was also a joyful occasion filled with friendship, memories and laughter. In glorious sunshine, guests enjoyed drinks in the House gardens, tours of the House, and a wonderful lunch.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a fitting tribute to Wallace House and its enduring legacy.
