Sherborne Prep School Sherborne Prep School is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 3-13.

Sherborne Prep is situated in the centre of the bustling market town of Sherborne, with 12 acres of beautiful grounds. Recently rated Excellent in our ISI Inspection report, we pride ourselves in offering children a broad and exciting curriculum with further opportunities to try new activities or sports on Saturday Mornings or in Enrichment at the end of the school day. me is supported by outdoor learning within a 22-acre site in the Sherborne Castle grounds as well as extension opportunities through close partnerships with Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls. With a direct train to and from Waterloo and nearby airports, Sherborne Prep is ideally positioned as a rural Dorset School with excellent transport links. Today we said a fond farewell to some of our wonderful mums and toddlers as their little ones get ready to start Reception this September.

Many of these families have been part of our Toddler Groups for years- some as long as 9 years! It has been such a privilege to watch their children grow, learn, play and flourish within our community.

A special thank you goes to our amazing Mrs Horlock, who runs our Friday Stay & Play group with such warmth, care and dedication. The families wanted to show their appreciation and we couldn’t agree more! We are so grateful for everything she does.

As we wish our Reception starters lots of luck on their next adventure, we would love to welcome new families to join us at our Toddler Groups and Friday Stay & Play sessions. Whether you are new to the area or looking for a friendly place to connect, we would be delighted to meet you!
