✨Before there’s a baby, there’s the becoming.✨

One of the easiest (and loveliest) ways to prep an older child is to let them bond with the idea of baby — without pressure, without big speeches, just… closeness.

👉🏻Try this: two minutes a day of “hands on bump” time. You breathe slowly, they listen/feel, you tell baby who’s here.
🌿That’s it. That’s the ritual.
💚And yes — it’s adorable.
⚡️It’s also brilliant nervous-system work for everyone.

✨Partner tip: you run “older child + connection time” while mum rests. Same time daily. Consistency = magic.

✨ A little life update…

After a few years away, I’m returning to birthwork.
The path back hasn’t been simple—there’s been divorce, healing, rebuilding, and a lot of rethinking how I want to work and live.

But if anything, all of that has only made my love for this work deeper.

I’m so proud of my growing family—the heart of everything I do—and the love and lessons they’ve brought into my life.

Being a doula was never just a job—it’s who I am. Holding space, offering calm, and witnessing people step into their power during birth… it moves me every time.

I’m back. With more heart, more perspective, and so much care to give.

We are so looking forward to another Wriggles & Wrinkles at Elliscombe House!

Join us from 2pm to 3.30pm on Thursday 22nd December to share in one another’s company and take part in some wonderful Christmassy activities!

We know that regular visits like this provide a hugely beneficial social boost for everyone involved and our residents absolutely love it when the children visit!
