As part of Beech Class's topic of Inventors and Inventions, the children were asked to either research an inventor or to create their own invention as a home learning project. We have found out about all sorts of inventions and seen some amazing ideas and prototypes for inventions. We're looking forward to seeing them become reality in the future!

Willow Class had a fabulous morning at Nunney Castle. They enjoyed being history detectives and sketching different parts of the castle.

Elm class have been learning about Victorian Schools. They lined up to have their hands inspected by the teacher. They learnt that the classrooms were called ‘schoolrooms’.
They have asked many questions, including “What happened if the children did not go to school?” “Why were the teachers strict?”

Acorn Class had a wonderfully informative visit from Longleat and got to learn about tarantulas, African land snails, Royal pythons, guinea pigs and hissing cockroaches.
