Dear Parents and Carers,

We have just received communication that all BWMAT Schools will close at 12.30 tomorrow and will remain closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Little Lambs will not be open at all on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

We have been reviewing the information and liaising with local authorities and other Trust regarding the red weather warning.

We have taken the decision to close all schools at 12.30 tomorrow (Tuesday) and remain closed all day on Wednesday and Thursday during the red warning period. Schools will re-open as normal on Friday, unless there is any change.

For nursery/pre-school provision to 0-4 year olds we have taken the decision to close these completely for the next 3 days (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday).

The Year 6 trip to Wells Cathedral will still take place on Tuesday morning, closely monitored by Mrs Newman and Mr Chorley. They are expected to return at 12.45.

As not all children will be able to eat lunch by 12.30, no school lunch will be provided and there is no need to send packed lunches to school tomorrow.

Information on Home Learning will follow on Class Dojo/ Tapestry tomorrow.

Robin Class visited the amazing Carymoor Environmental Trust for a Minibeast Mayhem workshop. The children did us proud with their knowledge of minibeasts, listening and participation over the day. 💚Belief🪲Aspiration🦗Advocacy💛

Nightingale Class travelled to the Forest of Imagination this week for a wonderful day in the forest, full of noticing nature around them and using it as inspiration to tell stories and to create poems. A wonderful day of creativity and imagination! 💛Belief🌳Aspiration🎨Advocacy💚

Kingfisher Class welcomed a fantastic Anglo-Saxon and Viking visitor bringing history to life. They learned lots of new facts and examined artefacts, discovering what they were used for with amazing hands on learning. The day finished with protecting their queen using their newly learned battle tactics! 💛Belief👸Aspiration💚
