The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Level 3 or level 2 qualified Playgroup Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

· Support children’s learning and development through play

· Observe, assess, and record children’s progress

· Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

· Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment at all times

· Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and setting policies and procedures

Requirements

· Full and relevant Level 3 or 2 qualification in Early Years/Childcare

· Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework

· Experience working with children aged 0–5 years

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

Desirable

· Paediatric First Aid certificate

· Experience working in a playgroup or nursery setting

St Winefride’s Playgroup has a vacancy for a part-time Playgroup Practitioner to work 16 hours per week term time only with immediate effect.

Applicants need a Level 3 childcare qualification, excellent organisation skills and experience of working as a team in a busy setting.

Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is essential, along with the ability to be flexible with your working practice.

We would like to thank everyone from SN Joinery & Construction Ltd for their very kind donation of road safety equipment. The children have been learning vital road safety awareness this morning.

Due to increased demand St Winefride’s Playgroup has a vacancy for a part-time Playgroup Practitioner to cover Maternity Leave with an immediate start until 5th July 2024. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9.00 till 12.00 term time only. Applicants need a Level 3 childcare qualification, excellent organisation skills and experience of working as a team, along with up to date knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
