And just like that, another wonderful school year comes to an end.

Thank you to all of our amazing parents and carers for your continued support, encouragement and kindness throughout the year. It has been a privilege to watch your children learn, grow and flourish, and we are so proud of every one of them.

A special good luck to our Year 2 leavers as they begin their next adventure. Keep those learning stars shining brightly, continue to live by our core values, and always believe in yourselves. We know you’ll achieve amazing things.

We wish all of our families a summer filled with rest, laughter, adventure and precious memories together. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.

Have a wonderful summer! We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September! ☀️💙

🌿🌳 What a wonderful Forest School Day! 🌳🌿

Our entire school community spent the whole day outdoors, exploring, discovering and making memories together.

From roasting marshmallows over the fire and creating our very own forest band, to building cosy nests for our class mascots and taking time to simply sit quietly and sketch the beautiful trees around us, every activity encouraged creativity, teamwork and a love of the natural world.

One of the highlights of the day was coming together for a whole school picnic on the field, sharing lunch, laughter and sunshine.

Forest School is all about learning through exploration, developing confidence, building resilience and creating lasting memories and today was the perfect example of that.

What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of another amazing school year. Thank you to all our staff for making the day so special, and well done to all of our wonderful children for embracing every moment of the adventure!

What a fantastic day we had with Don Rae! 🌍⚽💃

Each class spent the day learning a brand new dance before performing it in front of the whole school — and what incredible performances they were!

Our World Cup themed day took us on a musical journey around the world, with songs and dances inspired by different countries and cultures. It was such a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

And of course, there could only be one ending… England lifted the World Cup trophy while everyone danced and sang along to Three Lions! 🏆🦁🦁🦁 Football really did come home! 🎶⚽

A huge thank you to the amazing Don, who never fails to fill our Littleton buckets and bring so much energy, joy and inspiration to our school community. We can’t wait for next time! ❤️

This week we made the most of the slightly cooler weather with a cosy Pyjamarama Day! 📚💤

We loved seeing everyone arrive in their comfy pyjamas and it was wonderful to see even the grown ups joining in too! From fancy eye masks to favourite PJs, the school was full of smiles, comfort and lots of excitement.

Our Pyjamarama Day was all about raising money for The BookTrust and for our very own library bus - helping to encourage a love of reading for all of our children. We raised an incredible £103. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and took part in making the day so special! ❤️📖

We’ve been working hard to keep everyone cool and comfortable during this hot weather! ☀️

From plenty of water breaks to some creative cooling measures (including foot spas! 👣🧊), we’ve been doing all we can to help the children enjoy their day safely and comfortably. Who knew foot spas would become part of the school day?!

For parents who would prefer their child to be at home during the hottest part of the day, there will be an OPTIONAL early collection on Thursday and Friday between 1:00pm and 1:15pm.

As always, please ensure children come to school with a named water bottle, sun hat and wearing sunscreen.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this spell of warm weather together. We’re incredibly proud of how well the children have adapted and are making the most of the sunshine while staying safe and comfortable 💛

What a busy and exciting week we’ve had! 🌟💛

Year 1 have been working incredibly hard with lots of special phonics learning. We are so proud of every single one of them and all they have achieved. 📚✨

Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful visit to St Nicholas for a special bread sharing worship. It was such a lovely experience and a fantastic opportunity to spend time with some new friends!

We then finished the week with our fabulous Sports Day! 🏅 Everyone had such great fun and showed amazing sportsmanship by cheering on all of their friends throughout the morning.

A huge thank you to Shepperton Studios and Karen Howkins for so generously funding and organising ice lollies for all of the children. They were a very welcome treat after such a busy and active morning! 🍦☀️

We are so excited to announce that all 5 of our baby ducks have successfully hatched! 🐣💛

There has been lots of excitement around school, and yesterday the children were able to enjoy some very special cuddles with our fluffy new arrivals. The ducks have already brought so much joy and curiosity to everyone!

Over the next week, we’re looking forward to introducing them to water play and watching them explore, splash, and grow.

What an amazing experience for our school community! 💛

🦆 Exciting news in school today…our duck hatching project has arrived! 🥚

The eggs are now safely tucked up in the incubator, being kept nice and warm as we wait for the magic to happen over the next couple of days. The children are already full of excitement and curiosity as they learn all about the life cycle of ducks and what is needed to help them hatch safely.

We can’t wait to see our fluffy ducklings make their appearance very soon! 🐥💛
