Over the last couple of weeks at Church Square Preschool, we have been very busy learning all about baby animals and life cycles! 🐸🦋

We explored frogspawn through sensory play using basil seeds and had great fun using our magnifying glasses to watch tadpoles swimming around. The children even named them Rocky, Chase, Zuma and Rubble!

We are also very excited to be caring for our own caterpillars and can’t wait to watch them grow and transform into beautiful butterflies.

Along the way, we’ve been learning about animals that hatch from eggs and discovering the special names for baby animals, like cubs and kids.

It’s been a wonderful couple of weeks full of curiosity, exploration, and lots of fun! 🌱
