Our new giant bug house - well done to Ash Class for making this... we're sure the bugs will love it!

Rowan class went to Creswell Crags this week to learn all about The Stone Age. As you can see from the pictures, it was a lovely day... hard hats at the ready!

Children in the Learning Zone were this week excited by the official opening of their brand-new 'Calm Corner'. This was made possible by our PTA, Friends of Wharncliffe Side School. Thank you to all involved!

Our Y3s have also been sporty this week - doing a fantastic job in Thursday's inter-school cricket competition in Oughtibridge.

Another day, another sport! On Tuesday, our Y5/6s took part in a 'Flag Football' (American Football) event at St George's Park, Thorncliffe. They had a great time and lots of touchdowns were scored. Well done to all - but especially our MVP, Rory!

Congratulations to our Y5/6 Dodgeball Team who came 3rd in last night's inter-school competition at Stocksbridge!

So even though we still have a full term to go, our amazing Y6s are entering their last term with us... We thought it was time they got their Leavers' Hoodies (the children voted on the colour). Thank you once again to our PTA, Friends of Wharncliffe Side School, for paying for these!

Thank you so much to all involved. It is much appreciated and we will ensure we put it to good use!

Feels like a lifetime ago but we were finally able to meet up and handover the donation to the Wharncliffe Side, Primary School. We raised a massive £502 at our Christmas raffle. A big thank you to those who participated and, all the lovely people and businesses who donated prizes.
