Rocking Horse Music Group

It is with HUGE regret that I have decided to close rocking horse music group.

As many of you know I have an exciting new job teaching music at notre dame school as well as running the Sheffield Music Academy Infant scheme.

I was hoping to keep rocking horse open on Fridays, but with work and family commitments I have made the tough decision that this will not be possible.

I have adored my 6 years with your children and families and it was the perfect job for me when I had young children.

Now my girls are older, the world of school teaching and violin performance beckons once more.

Hello Everyone

As I mentioned I am doing a concert with the Sheffield Music Academy Infants and Juniors this Saturday May 21st 4-5pm.

The pieces are short and mostly aimed at younger children so if you have 3+ year olds who you think would be inspired by seeing nearly 100, 6-12 year olds playing and singing a variety of instruments beautifully and with infectious enthusiasm then do come along.

The tickets are fee to book, but there is a suggested donation of £5 on the door.

Timetable Term dates: Mondays: 25 April, 9, 16, 23 May (4 weeks) Fridays: 22, 29 April, 6, 13, 20 May (5 weeks)

So after weeks of my family having COVID I have finally tested positive (as of last Sunday).
My Monday group had a lovely time with the gorgeous Hannah from Humming Birds (thanks so much for covering for me!), but unfortunately I am still positive and cannot find anyone to cover tomorrow.

So the playroom and cafe will be open as normal (thanks so much Caitlin) and I will be running an extra catch up session 1st April to make up for missing tomorrow.

Do pop in and drink tea, eat cake, and I'll see you all next week.

The playroom will be open 9:30-12:00 Mondays and 9:30-11:30 Fridays.

The cafe will be open from March (so one week with just playroom and no cafe, then back to 'pre-covid' format of: singing, play and tea and coffee, and possibly cake! - YEY!).

I am so sorry but my daughter is still in hospital and family logistics make it impossible to run the sessions this week.

I will roll over these classes to next term and be in touch ASAP about dates for after Feb half term.

Exciting news is the church have allowed us to open cafe and playroom after half term, so once we are back, it will be full steam ahead :)

I really hope that my Thursday people will be able to come on one of the other days. It was a really hard choice to make, as I adore teaching all your little ones.

WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Due to the uncertain COVID environment and family commitments, I am taking a break from running rocking horse for November.
I hope to be back (COVID allowing) for a Christmas Special Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd and Monday 6th December.
This will be open for booking in late November - with priority given to returning customers.

I will miss all the beautiful smiling faces of your little ones, but just need a bit of time to focus on my own children.

Hello Everyone

Just to let you know that due to unavoidable circumstances I rocking horse classes have finished for this half term.

We will be restarting in November.

As I only invoiced for the 5 weeks that we have done, there should not be any refund admin with this change. But if there is any issue with overpayment, we can sort at a later date.

I have emailed all existing customers. If you are a new family and wondering waiting for a response from me, I might be off email for little bit.

I will pick up all admin in time for the start of term and apologies for the silence until then.

I hope that you are having a lovely summer. Right I am back on emails and booking classes for September.
