💙 Robert has been recognised for settling in so well since joining our team. The children absolutely love it when he visits their rooms to support during lunchtime, and he has quickly become a valued member of the nursery family.

Fiona has worked at Nurtured @ Ecclesfield for over 2 years and brings passion, drive, and genuine care to everything she does. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive and have the very best start to their educational journey.

Fiona works closely in partnership with parents and carers, building positive relationships and supporting families every step of the way. Her commitment to inclusion helps ensure that all children feel valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential.

🌟 Esther – Nursery Manager
Esther has over 16 years of childcare experience and was previously a childminder before becoming our Nursery Manager 4 years ago. Her knowledge, dedication, and caring approach help create a nurturing environment for everyone within the nursery.

🌟 Gemma – Deputy Manager
Gemma also brings 16 years of childcare experience and is Early Years Status Trained. She is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development while helping staff thrive within their roles.

Both Esther and Gemma have families of their own and share a love for:

💙 Supporting and encouraging staff
🌱 Most importantly, helping children grow, learn, and develop with confidence

As the warmer weather continues, please remember to help us keep the children safe in the sun by:

🧢 Bringing a sun hat
🧴 Applying sun cream before nursery
💧 Sending a named water bottle
👕 Dressing children in suitable cool clothing

We will continue to encourage regular drinks, shaded play, and sun safety throughout the day.

A Busy Friday in Preschool 🌟

Our preschoolers have had a fantastic Friday full of exploration, curiosity, and learning through play!

This week we have been discovering:
🐞 Mini beasts and the wonderful creatures we can find in the world around us
🔢 Numbers and counting through fun hands-on activities
😊 Feelings and emotions, helping us understand ourselves and others
