Foundations at Springwood

Today we’ve had lots of fun altogether in the sunshine ☀️ tomorrow is our last day, you can collect your children at 1.15pm before school closes at 1.30pm, we hope you all have a lovely summer, our first day back is Tuesday the 3rd September 😊

What fun we have had this week with our circus role play and activities 😊

Next term our topic is Growing.

Our first week is all about when we were babies; we would love you to send us a baby photo of your child which we could use in our activities and include in a display.

Yesterday we released our butterflies, the children were so excited to see them fly away 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Don’t forget that photograph orders need to be returned by Friday 17th May

As the weather turns warm again this week can you please bring a sun hat for your child and apply sun cream, if you want to leave some sun cream in their bag we will help to reapply during the day 😊

FS0 had so much fun this afternoon exploring the side garden. We balanced on the play equipment, choosing whether to go under or over before jumping off. Then we checked that our strawberries and mint were growing well, and even found a spider and a giant worm

The photographer will be coming into Foundation’s next Wednesday @ 9.00am to take individual photographs. If your child does not attend on this day and you would like their photo taking please come along and we will allocate you a slot 📸 🧀 😁

Today we had a visit from the Easter bunny and this afternoon we enjoyed our Easter bonnet parade.
We wish everyone a Happy Easter 🐣
